Mike Cole and Joe Croce founded CiCi’s Pizza in 1985 in Plano, Texas.  By 2001 they had expanded into 380 different locations and they began to expand their buffet options along with remodeling their restaurants.  This allowed them to expand into 500 locations and they became the fastest growing pizzeria in the United States.  Croce retired from the business in 2003 and passed his ownership in the company to Craig Moore and he became president of the company.  Moore decided to retire in 2009 after 17 years with the company.  This is when Michael Shumsky took over and helped the company continue to move forward.  CiCi’s Pizza has won many awards including the awards as America’s Healthiest and best restaurant from Men’s Health magazine in 2009.

CiCi’s Pizza is well-known for both buffet pizza and take-out pizza.  They offer a variety of pizzas including dessert pizza on the buffet and all of their pizzas are available to go as well.  They also offer salad and pasta on the buffet along with a variety of beverages.  CiCi’s Pizza is an all you can eat type of restaurant and you can try many different types of pizza along with salad, pasta, and more.  This is why many families love visiting the restaurant and they really do have something for everybody.

Many CiCi’s Pizza restaurant franchises have been opened and they are looking for more potential franchisees.  As an owner/operator you will serve as the General Manager full time and they do not allow you to have any other business interests.  They look for high-energy people that are motivated to serve others and can communicate effectively.  Having a successful track record in business is necessary and they also want individuals that can handle a fast pace for long periods of time.  CiCi’s Pizza wants proven leaders and if you would rather not be a General Manager you can also become an investor as well.  They also work with those that do not have much experience in business to help train them and allow them to work up to their own franchise.
