Buck’s Pizza was founded by now president Lance Benton.  The company was started on September 16th of 1994 and it started with a vision that Lance had in Du Bois, Pennsylvania.  It was not long after the company began that the first franchise opened in Goversville, New York.  The company was originally run by four employees and three of them were family.  The franchise prides itself on growing into cities and towns that understand the meaning of Food for the Family.  The company is currently owned by Mary Jo Faville and continues to generate good annual sales.

It is pretty obvious that the specialty of Buck’s Pizza is pizza.  They have a build your own that allows you to pick the toppings you would like on your pie and they also offer many specialty pizzas as well.  Buck’s Pizza also offers Stromboli, hoagies, salads, and a few appetizers as well.  They carry Coke products and they offer 11 different wing sauces for their chicken wings as well.  They feature 16 specialty pizzas that are predesigned or you are able to make your own and top it however you would like.  Not all items are offered at every location, but the core of the items is offered at every location.

Buck’s Pizza offers restaurant franchise opportunities that are all over the country.  In order to start a franchise you will have to pay a $20,000 franchise fee along with other expenses that can range from $143,450 to $321,400 depending on the location and the initial inventory you must carry.  You will get start-up support along with training for you and your managers.  The corporate office will help you to select the proper POS system and the other equipment you will need like fryers, ovens, and more.  They will also help you to find the necessary lenders to help you open your Buck’s Pizza and make it a success from the beginning and on.
